Montco Decks is a Montgomery County, Pennsylvania service that helps homeowners picture a new deck on a photo of their actual home—then meet a local builder to make it real. We built it because the hardest part of starting a deck project is imagining what it will look like on your house before you commit.
Why we built it
Deck shopping usually starts backwards. You call builders, try to describe what you want, and get quotes for a deck you can only picture in your head. Manufacturer tools help you browse products, but they don't show the deck on your home. We wanted to flip that: see it on your house first, settle the choices that are hard to imagine, and only then bring in a builder—with a clear picture in hand.
How the preview works
You upload one photo
A single daylight photo of the back of your house is all it takes—no measuring and no app.
We build a preview on your home
The tool reads the visible walls, doors, and ground in your photo and places a new deck where a real one would go. You adjust the size, finish, and railing.
We introduce you to a local builder
When you're ready and give consent, we connect you with an independent deck builder serving your area to plan the real project.
Every preview is an approximate concept, not a construction drawing. We label it that way everywhere because it's the truth—final dimensions, feasibility, and pricing come from a builder's on-site measurement.
How we choose builder partners
The builders we introduce are independent local businesses, not employees of Montco Decks. We focus on builders serving Montgomery County and the nearby Philadelphia suburbs. An introduction is not an endorsement or a guarantee of any builder's work—you should always verify credentials, insurance, references, scope, and pricing before you hire.
