Terms of Service

The Service

Montco Decks provides an online visualization experience and may introduce homeowners to independent deck builders. Montco Decks is not a deck contractor, architect, engineer, permit office, construction manager, or party to a construction agreement between you and a builder.

Deck Previews Are Approximate

Deck previews are generated from visible details in an uploaded photo and the options you select. They are for early inspiration only. They are not plans, measurements, specifications, engineering advice, code review, permit approval, pricing, or a promise that a particular deck is feasible.

Visualization Notifications

If you request email or text updates, you authorize Montco Decks and its delivery providers to contact the email address or phone number you submit about that visualization. Automated technology may be used. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts. Consent to notifications is not consent to hire a builder.

Builder Introductions

Requesting an introduction does not require you to hire a builder or create a construction contract. Builders are independent businesses, not employees or agents of Montco Decks. You are responsible for reviewing a builder’s credentials, insurance, references, proposal, scope, permits, warranties, and pricing before hiring them.

Your Photos and Project Information

You confirm that you have the right to upload the photos and information you provide. You give Montco Decks permission to process that content as needed to create your preview, operate the service, and complete a builder introduction you request. You should not upload photos containing people, private documents, license plates, or other unnecessary personal information.

Acceptable Use

You may not use the service to:

• Upload content you do not have permission to use.
• Misrepresent your identity, property, or project.
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the platform.
• Use generated previews as certified construction documents or professional plans.
• Violate any law or the rights of another person.

Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue features of the service. We do not guarantee that the service, a generated preview, or a builder introduction will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate, or error-free.

Disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the extent permitted by law. Montco Decks does not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, availability, or outcome of work performed by an independent builder.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Montco Decks will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the platform, reliance on a preview, communication with a builder, or work performed by a builder.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the service changes. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply to future use of the service.
